Filer and non-filer prize bond tax

The denomination pages use a 15% withholding estimate for a filer appearing on the Active Taxpayers List and 30% for a non-filer. For example, the net estimate is calculated as gross prize minus the applicable withholding amount. The result is an estimate and does not establish a winner's tax status.

Use the custom prize bond tax calculator when you already know a gross amount. Use a denomination page when you want to select the first, second or third prize from an official prize schedule.
