How to Use the Prize Bond Scanner Correctly
Press once, then show bonds one by one. The scanner waits for a stable six-digit area, captures it, checks the number automatically and re-arms when you replace the bond. The captured crop stays visible so you can correct a digit before continuing.

Before you start
Use a modern mobile browser on a secure HTTPS connection. The rear camera normally gives the clearest result because it can focus at close range. Clean the camera lens, place the bond on a flat surface, and use bright, even light. Strong shadows, glare, folds and patterned backgrounds can make printed digits look like letters.
Scan a prize bond in five steps
Select the denomination
Choose Rs. 100, Rs. 200, Rs. 750, Rs. 1,500, Rs. 25,000 Premium or Rs. 40,000 Premium from the selector. The corresponding draw files begin loading immediately.
Start the automatic session
Press Start Automatic Scanner once. When your browser asks for permission, choose Allow. You do not need to press the button for every bond.
Place one number inside the target
Move the phone or bond until one complete six-digit number fills most of the green box. Keep surrounding text, serial labels and another bond number outside the target.
Hold steady briefly
Allow the camera to focus. When the target stops moving, the digits-only OCR reads and checks the number automatically.
Review the crop
Compare the cropped image with the editable six-digit field. If OCR made a mistake, type the correct number and select Correct & Recheck.
Show the next bond
Remove or shuffle the checked bond and place the next number in the target. The scanner detects the visual change, waits for stability and checks again.
Review and verify
The detected number appears in scan history. A winning match shows draw information and prize amount. Confirm every possible win through the official record before making a claim or financial decision.
How to get faster and more accurate recognition
Bring the phone close enough that the six digits occupy much of the green box, but keep every digit visible.
Daylight or a room light from the side is usually better than direct flash, which may produce glare.
Curved paper changes digit shapes. Place the bond on a plain, contrasting surface when possible.
The target is designed for one six-digit sequence. Extra printed text can slow recognition or create the wrong candidate.
Fast movement causes blur. Stop moving for a moment after centering the number so autofocus can settle.
Faded, damaged or handwritten numbers are safer to enter through Manual Check than to scan repeatedly.
Why the scanner uses digits-only OCR
OCR software recognizes shapes rather than understanding a physical bond. An expanded alphabet can make 2 compete with Z, 0 with C, O, Q or D, and 6 with G. The restored scanner therefore limits recognition to digits—the earlier pattern that proved more dependable in actual use.
Always compare the number shown in scan history with the number printed on the bond. If they differ, clear that entry, improve lighting and scan again, or use Manual Check.
Understanding “No prize found”
“No prize found” means the number did not match a winning record in the currently selected denomination and the draw files currently available on this website. It does not authenticate the bond, prove ownership, confirm eligibility or replace an official search. A result can also be affected by selecting the wrong denomination, an incorrect camera reading, or a draw that has not yet been added.
Before relying on the result, compare the scanned digits, review the database coverage page, and check the official lists available from National Savings Pakistan. Traditional draw articles and schedules are maintained separately on PrizeBondPak.com.
When manual and bulk checking are better
Manual Check
Use Manual Check when the print is faded, the paper is damaged, the camera cannot focus, or you already have a typed list. You can enter multiple numbers separated by spaces, commas or new lines.
Series Range Checker
Use the range checker for consecutive numbers. To protect mobile performance, check no more than 5,000 numbers at a time. Divide larger holdings into smaller ranges and save each report separately.
Prefix Checker
Use the quick checker for a 100-number or 1,000-number block that shares a prefix. Check the generated beginning and ending numbers before starting the search.
Camera privacy
The camera view and OCR processing run in your browser. The application does not need you to upload a photograph of the bond to operate. Camera permission can be removed at any time from your browser’s site settings. Avoid scanning documents that display personal, banking or identity information, and never send such images through the contact email.

Quick troubleshooting
The camera does not open
Confirm that the page uses HTTPS, allow camera permission, close another application using the camera, and reload the page. On Android Chrome, camera permission is available through the lock icon beside the address.
The scanner keeps reading the wrong number
Move other text outside the target, improve the light, clean the lens and hold the phone parallel to the bond. Verify the displayed six digits before accepting the result.
The first scan takes longer
The browser must load and initialize the OCR engine and selected draw database. Later scans in the same session should be faster because those resources remain available in memory.
A known winner is not found
Check the denomination, compare every digit, confirm that the relevant draw appears in database coverage, and test the same number using Manual Check. If the official record and local checker disagree, report the denomination, number, draw number and official source through the contact page.
Final checking checklist
- The correct denomination is selected.
- All six displayed digits match the physical bond.
- The relevant draw is included in database coverage.
- A possible win has been checked against the official draw list.
- Any discrepancy has been reported with a reliable source.
